hrm. ladeedadeeda. what's been happening lately?
a little and a lot i guess. a bunch of stuff is starting to wind down... class, work, record, etc. i think the semester went well (even it wasn't reflected in my grades); i'm psyched about how Tom's EP is finishing up. Since I'm going to miss the release party I was thinking we might have an in-studio listening party with a few of our nearest and dearest. Cheap champagne in plastic cups, cigarette smoke thicker than the air in LA, and ballsy rock and roll... that would be just about hot enough to make up a scene in my carefully tailored life.
anyway, thxgiving break was pretty ok. it's always interesting to see the old companeros... see how everyone's doing and all that. a little awk at the same time though; we kind of don't have as much in common as we used to, and with some of them it's hard to tell whether or not they've grown up one day in the last three years. ah well...
i should wrap this up before i wax too nostalgic. and I just think it's smashin'/that peace is back in fashion.
